| Returns PolicyReturns PolicyAll transactions with Rutland Pumps Limited hereafter referred to as 'RPL' are considered to be business to business, as such we are not governed by the Distance Selling (Consumer Contract) Regulations, instead we are regulated by The E Commerce (EC Directive) 2002. Damaged ItemsCUSTOMERS are responsible for checking consignments for damage or missing parts, PRIOR to SIGNING FOR and ACCEPTING and the parcel from the courier. We URGE all customers to check EVERY delivery for damage as we cannot claim for damage or loss on any parcel signed for as being in "Good Condition": by signing in this manner you herby INDEMNIFY Rutland Pumps Limited against any claim for loss or damage. Any omissions or errors on an order must be reported within 7 days of receipt to RPL. In the unlikely event that items are damaged in transit please inform us immediately. This will ensure that any claims against the courier can be processed promptly and a replacement item sent. RPL cannot guarantee that any damage to an item reported after 7 days will result in a successful claim and may mean that a replacement cannot be offered. Goods that are missing or damaged must be signed for as 'damaged' or 'incomplete'. Rutland Pumps Limited cannot guarantee that if a parcel has been signed for and is later found to be faulty or incomplete that it can then be rectified or claimed for. Please check all orders immediately and only sign for your order if it is correct. Returns CANNOT be processed without a returns number and will be returned to sender. RPL cannot accept liability for goods delivered to third party addresses or goods left in unsecured locations. All goods should be signed for accordingly and RPL will deliver to nominated secure addresses according to the customer’s instructions. Faulty ItemsAll faulty goods must be returned to RPL* within 7 days before a replacement can be despatched. A tracked delivery method is advised and proof of delivery and of cost of delivery to RPL must be provided; once the item is received by us and evaluated for faults a credit will be given to the customer for the value of the cost of delivery. The replacement item, if in stock, will then be sent out at RPL's expense on a next day service (restrictions to non UK mainland and some Scottish postcodes as detailed above apply). Returns CANNOT be processed without a returns number. If it is urgent that a replacement is sent quickly a payment for the replacement item will be taken until the faulty item is received. The payment will then be refunded assuming that the item is faulty. RPL cannot accept any liability for any consequential loss incurred by customers due to faulty goods supplied. RPL will undertake to replace any goods in the shortest time period possible, or supply equivalent quality goods accordingly. Unwanted ItemsAny unwanted goods returned to RPL* within 7 working days will receive a 100% refund excluding shipping if, upon inspection, they are unused and in a resalable condition. *Please Call RPL 01572 729412 to obtain a returns number before returning any items. Returns CANNOT be processed without a returns number. Items returned after 7 working days will be accepted at RPL's discretion for which a restocking charge of 20% will be applied. All carriage related to unwanted goods will be charged to the customer. RPL cannot accept any liability for any consequential loss incurred by customers due to faulty goods supplied. RPL will undertake to replace any goods in the shortest time period possible, or supply equivalent quality goods accordingly. |
